Join us for an exclusive webinar on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. EST, where Jobs for the Future (JFF) and Trellis Strategies will present findings from a first of its kind research report, “Unveiling Disparities: A Closer Look at Gender and Racial Differences in Student Financial Insecurity.”

Our research, based on data from the Trellis 2022 Student Financial Wellness Survey, highlights significant financial disparities affecting underrepresented student populations, particularly Black, Latine, and women students. Drawing from this large national survey, we show how Black and Latine learners were significantly more likely than white students to have needed assistance for food, housing, medical care, utilities, and childcare. Students who are parents face additional financial insecurity across these measures. Learn about next steps we can take to tackle these challenges and how you can get involved.
