The article reports that the Biden administration is offering local and regional workforce development programs grants to adopt the nonprofits’ model through a $500 million program called the Good Jobs Challenge. JFF will work with the grantees to help them adopt best practices to ensure that their programs succeed.
“This is a significant commitment of resources, and there will be a lot of eyes on the results,” Flynn says in the article. “That will really influence what is proposed and funded going forward.”
