JFF VP Michael Collins in “Leaders at Virginia’s Community Colleges Gather to Kick Off Ambitious Plan to Achieve Equity in Access and Outcomes for All Students”
A blog post on the Virginia Community Colleges website mentioned a presentation that JFF Vice President Michael Collins delivered at the Virginia Community College System’s Chancellor’s Retreat, which took place in Roanoke on August 3 and 4.
Addressing community college leaders from across Virginia, Collins said, “We have to help Black learners and workers advance in our economy, to be able to get jobs, careers that pay families supporting wages, so they can nurture and care for their families.”
