Aaron Pickering is Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at JFF. As part of the executive team, he drives innovative and outcomes-driven marketing of JFF’s critical products and services nationwide. He spearheads a dynamic team responsible for elevating JFF’s brand, storytelling, and thought leadership across a diversity of channels contributing to the organization’s measurable growth and impact.

Before joining JFF, Pickering was executive vice president at Headstand, where he founded and co-led the Purpose Center of Excellence with Stagwell’s sister agency, Allison Worldwide. He has developed award-winning global campaigns for nonprofit organizations and Fortune 500s, including LEGO Education, Aflac, Fiserv, and PwC. Pickering has advocated for workforce and education systems change through his work with FIRST Robotics, the Fair Labor Association and U.S. Department of Labor, Equal Justice Works, and the National Domestic Workers’ Alliance. He is also an adjunct associate professor at George Washington University and a member of the National Association of the Deaf.
