Asma Mahmood is a director on the Development team at JFF. In her role, she strategically supports JFF’s Center for Apprenticeship & Work-Based Learning, Policy and Advocacy team, and JFFLabs to achieve their fundraising goals.
Her skills and areas of expertise include:
- Pipeline management
- Proposal development
- Cultivating activities with funders and business unit leaders
- Strategic fundraising
Before joining JFF, Mahmood worked in individual giving fundraising and donor relationship management at Community Catalyst, where she oversaw improvements to development systems and processes and developed strategies to increase unrestricted funding.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, MBBS, Muscat, Oman
- Master’s degree in communication, North Carolina State University
