Before coming to JFF, Courtney worked at Arizona State University and Indiana University. At both institutions, she helped advance university-wide efforts in entrepreneurship, international development, and interprofessional healthcare practice and education. She designed and implemented engaging learning experiences, managed grants and project teams, and built productive relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and sponsors.

Courtney’s early career work in international development afforded her the opportunity to travel internationally and work with many grassroots social impact organizations, including Play360, which trains communities on how to build educational playgrounds with locally-found and recycled materials, and Centro Mujeres, a longstanding women’s rights organization serving Mexico’s Baja California peninsula.

Courtney has bachelor’s degrees in international studies and Spanish from Indiana University.
