Operations Hanna Juergens she/her Director

Hanna Juergens is a director on the Development team at JFF. She advances JFF’s fundraising efforts through comprehensive fundraising strategies, working closely with JFF’s Center for Racial Economic Equity, Education practice, and Employer Mobilization practice. 

Her skills and areas of expertise include: 

  • Development strategy 
  • Development operations 
  • Grant writing expertise 
  • Prospect research 

Before joining JFF, Juergens was a senior associate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), where she provided executive and programmatic support to the policy and communications team, including event planning, copyediting, and coordinating communications projects. She also cofounded J-PAL’s gender working group and developed curriculum to train employees in gender analysis. 

Educational background:  

  • Bachelor’s degrees in women’s studies and history, Wheaton College, Norton, Massachusetts 
  • Master’s degree in gender and women’s studies, University of Wisconsin-Madison
