Jeff Bulanda is vice president of the ASA Center for Career Navigation at JFF. He develops integrated strategies to build the bridge from learning to work for Generation Z, ensuring young people have the tools, access, and experience needed to navigate career pathways confidently—from exploration to job attainment. 

 His skills and areas of expertise include: 

  • Postsecondary education and workforce development
  • Career and educational decision-making 
  • Youth-led programming  
  • Program and policy evaluation  
  • Trauma-informed practice 

Before joining JFF, Bulanda was the global leader overseeing college, coaching, and foundational skills programming for Career Choice, Amazon’s education benefit available to more than 700,000 frontline workers across 14 countries.  

Educational background:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, University of Chicago 
  • Master’s degree in social work, Loyola University Chicago 
  • Ph.D. in social work, Loyola University Chicago
