John Ladd is a senior advisor in the Center for Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning at JFF. He focuses on system building efforts that better align workforce and education at the local, state, regional and national levels, with a particular focus on how apprenticeship models can be better leveraged for economic success.
His skills and areas of expertise include:

Before joining JFF, Ladd was administrator for the Office of Apprenticeship at the U.S. Department of Labor, where he led the unprecedented growth and expansion of the national apprenticeship system as well as a broad range of activities related to the National Apprenticeship Act and the management of Office of Apprenticeship staff.
Prior to his appointment as administrator, Ladd served as the deputy administrator for the Office of National Response, the director of regional management in the Office of Field Operations, and the Boston Regional Office.
