Mary Gardner Clagett is a senior director in the Policy & Advocacy practice at JFF. She works with workforce policy leaders and practitioners nationwide to shape effective policy recommendations for U.S. workers and the U.S. economy. She and her team identify best practices for meeting the education, training, and employment needs of learners and workers, and translate practice into policy.

Before joining JFF, Clagett worked for more than 20 years for members of Congress, serving in senior policy positions for education, workforce development, and human services.
