Matt McKeever is a Director at Jobs for the Future. In this role, he leads and contributes to national workforce development and education projects, including the recently acquired Rework America Alliance project and the Guiding Coalition component of JFF’s P-TECH initiative.
Before coming to JFF, Matt was Chief of Staff at the Markle Foundation where he developed strategic operating plans and learning and evaluation strategies for the Rework America Alliance initiative. As the Dean of Community and Workforce Partnership at Arapahoe Community College, Matt focused on building the college’s non-credit workforce programs, establishing effective operation for the college’s career and technical education programs, and leading several academic affairs business units including faculty professional development and the college’s two satellite campuses.
Matt’s early career at the University of Colorado at Boulder and the Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) provided him the opportunity to contribute to continuing education and extended studies programs, policy development, and implementation of statewide pathways including:
- Establishing partnerships to enhance pathways to better serve Colorado’s adult learners;
- Leading statewide higher education implementation of Colorado’s foundational Concurrent Enrollment Act; and
- Serving on several statewide boards and committees focused on early college design, high school-to-college transitions, and non-traditional educational pathways.
Matt has a PhD in Education and Human Resource Studies with a focus in organizational learning, performance and change management.
