Nancy Hoffman is a senior advisor and cofounder of Pathways to Prosperity at JFF. She supports states, regions, and cities in efforts to build or improve pathways from high school to a first marketable postsecondary credential. 

Her skills and areas of expertise include: 

• Education to career pathways with a goal of economic advancement 
• Cross-sector partnerships linking education, training, and workforce entities 
• Secondary, postsecondary, and work-based learning integration 
• Innovation and change in large education systems 

Before joining JFF, Hoffman held faculty and administrative positions at institutions such as MIT, UMass Boston, Harvard, Brown, Temple, and Portland State.  

Educational background:  

• Bachelor’s degree in comparative literature, University of California, Berkeley 
• PhD in comparative literature, University of California, Berkeley
