Select Experts Noah Bein he/him Director, Justice and Mobility

Noah Bein is a director in Policy & Advocacy at JFF. He works closely with the Center for Justice & Economic Advancement to steer JFF’s strategic efforts at the state and federal levels to remove barriers for people with criminal records. 

Before joining JFF, Bein led policy, research, and advocacy campaigns for the Pew Charitable Trusts’ Public Safety Performance Project and the Justice Action Network, enacting youth and criminal justice reform legislation in states across the country. He began his career working with kids and families involved with the Washington, DC youth justice system. 

Educational background:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in history, Brandeis University, Waltham, Massachusetts 
  • Master’s degree in public policy analysis, NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service
